WELLNESS GALLERY The aim of the "Ageing Well" Wellness Gallery project is to create a free-to-access resource of authentic and inclusive stock images depicting wellness and positive ageing in Australia. The image gallery will be free to download and to use by all individuals and organisations. Currently, many of the stock images used in media depict aged individuals (50+ years old) in a negative or stereotypical way, that does not accurately capture the diversity and reality of most ageing Australians. Important: Photos submitted to the competition may be chosen to be included in the resource gallery and may be downloaded and used by external individuals and organisations for any purpose, outside of the control of Catalyst Foundation. Be Aware: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander viewers, please be aware that this website, and the resource gallery following completion of the project, may contain images and voices of deceased persons.
Please note that all photos need to have people(aged 50+ years old) as their subjects. We welcome pictures of all ageing South Australians, including those living with a disability, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, LGBTIQA+ communities, Aboriginal Communities and people living in regional and rural areas. Please ensure models are aware that their photos may be used as stock images for external organisations and individuals outside of our control and agree to this. WHO CAN SUBMIT This competition is open to anyone living in South Australia - professional photographers, amateurs and enthusiasts! For participants under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian consent is required.
HOW TO SUBMIT You may submit up to 5 photos of up to 20MB each. The photos you submit need to be named with your first and last name, e.g. John Smith 1, John Smith 2, John Smith 3. Please make sure to include the right contact details on the submission form.

AFTER YOU SUBMIT Following the closing date of submissions, our judge/s will make a selection of up to 30 photos based on the photographic skill, artistic sensibilities, emotion, impact and originality. The decisions of the judge/s are final.
These 30 photos will be uploaded to this website and then voting will open for the public to select their favourite photos. Important: Register here to receive the Catalyst Foundation newsletter. A newsletter in February will also include the link to voting.
